The program leans on practical and non-technical approach and will be dealt through the sophisticated data analysis software SPSS/PASW and aims at providing good understanding and hands-on experience of the application of appropriate data analysis tools that are imperative in making effective decisions.

6. Project – Practical Implementation
>> Campus component
There will be five day campus workshop at MICA. This work shop will be residential in nature and will be charged on actual. It includes accommodation, food expenses. During this workshop, all participants will have chance to clarify their doubts and use SPSS software. Participants can seek help of any type in person they need related to Data Analytics and avail the facilities on campus.
>> Pedagogy
The teaching approach will be highly interactive taking advantage of the technological benefits. The pedagogy followed for Combination of presentation, cases and hands on exercises, exercises in small groups, simulation, case analysis, individual feedback, interactive discussions, cases and hands-on training on the latest version of SPSS/PASW.
>> Program Methodology
The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Global Education Interactive learning platform. The heart of the platform is a powerful user interface that enables large number of geographically distributed students to have a highly interactive ‘one to one’ exchange with a central faculty. The system incorporates live broadcast video; two way audio and data interactivity to enable the students to watch and interact with the faculty live on their PC’s. The Programme can be beamed at any of the HughesNet Global Education, HughesNet Fusion or HughesNet Direct to Corporate Classrooms.
>> Placement Assistance
Placement assistance would be provided to students successfully obtaining the certificate. It means that MICA would share the list of companies and provide reference letters to the certificate holders in order to assist them in placements. Placement assistance does not mean that MICA would be responsible for getting the candidates placed within a given time frame.
